Our Fees; Long Term Rental
If you have a property which you would like to put on to the long-term rental market then you have come to the right place! Many of the older vacation homes are now turning to long-term rental as an income earner. The great news is that this is a very buoyant market. Whatever your type or style of property we have interested tenants.
Freestyle offers a one stop solution for our clients. If you do not already have an occupational license we will take care of that for you.
There are no sales tax implications on long-term (six months or greater) rentals but legal lease between owner and tenant is required. We meet all legal obligations by working closely with our sister company Homepride Realty Services Inc who are located in the same office.
Once we have reviewed your property and audited the immediate local market we will recommend a rental price. We will then advertise your property (various media including this site!) and find you the right tenant. Prospective tenants are the vetted and credit checked before proceeding to the drawing up of a 12 month lease.
Freestyle will act on an owner’s behalf regarding all aspects of landlord obligations including any legal issues arising in the non-payment of rents. Our company will collect rent at the beginning of each month (or as stated in the lease) and pay those funds into the owners account less 15% which represents our fee.
